Intel introduces the long-anticipated third generation NB platform Napa in Jan06. The chip giant no longer names the CPU as Pentium M as the previous generations like Carmel and Sonoma did but rather classifies the new platform in terms of the CPU core number, i.e. single core[Core Solo]and the dual-core[Core Duo](codename Yonah).
